Summaries Playground
When you log in, you will land on the Summaries dashboard. Here you can try a basic version of Wordcab's summary tools prior to diving into the documentation, API Reference.
Welcome! You are on the Wordcab Dashboard, where all the magic begins. πͺ
Create a summary
First thing first, we need to create a summary. Click on the New Summary button and choose your source file. For this demonstration, we will select Import audio file.
You should see a pop-up that indicates you to drop your source file. In our case, we drag and drop our sample audio file.
Once the file is fully uploaded, as shown in the screenshot below, you can click the Upload button to launch your summarization job.
The Summary job
You should now see the Summarization job in the Summaries dashboard, with the basic information such as the job name, the date and time you started the job, and the status (please note the status updates once you refresh the page).
It shouldn't be long until the job is complete. Once finished, a summary preview will be shown and the job's status will change to Complete.
Refresh the Summaries page to update the job status. (Press F5)
You should now see the Summarization job in the Summaries dashboard, with the basic information such as the job name,
Explore your summary
Now, you can inspect the summary and see what was understood from your source file. You need to click on your summarization job to see the summary details.
You can play with the slider widget to make the summary shorter or longer. See how it changes the summary content!
It's possible to review the source transcript by clicking on the Open Transcript button. Here you'll see an audio player (if the source was originally an audio file), check which utterances are associated with which summary sections, and even change the speakers' names by modifying names in the Settings tab.
If you want to share the summary with people, click the Share Summary button and send them a link.
Link to calendar
Instead of manually launching summarization jobs, you can also connect your calendar. Every Zoom meeting (Teams and Meet are coming soon) where you are the host will be added as a summarization job.
Once you connect your email account to Wordcab, you should see the upcoming meetings that will be summarized.
You can also manually schedule a meeting or launch a summarization job from an audio file or a transcript on the top left tab.
Review your Wordcab plan and the credits left on the bottom left tab.
Send a referral link to your colleagues and friends to earn three free meetings!
Finally, your summarization jobs can be seen under the Existing Meetings tab.
You can review any Summarization job by clicking on it.
